Skin Friction Reduction At-Sea Test Installation

The top left picture in Figure 1 shows the installation of the sensors and ejectors into the lifting body while in dry dock.  The top right hand picture  in Figure 1 shows the ejectors being fitted into place.  The bottom middle picture  in Figure 1 shows the port side end cap ejector.

Figure 2 Installation of the AHS while in dry dock.  The entire slurry mixing system is contained in a standard half-container.  This system was much more complex than an operational system would be since the test matrix required control and measurement of many variables and configurations that would not be required for  a non-test vessel
